I Like You… I do.

I truly love my trips to I Like You.  I always enjoy catching up on gossip with Sarah and shooting the breeze with Angela.  They’re two rad ladies I feel blessed to have in my life, and not just because their craft sales tend to make me a fair chunk of change.

I stopped over today to drop off some ornaments for their holiday show and pick up cards to hand out to everyone I know (and if you’re reading this, and I don’t give you a card, you’d better head to the sale mentioned in that linked blog, or I will cry… seriously).  I was in the truck when I thought “Gee, I may never see these ornaments again.  I should take pictures of them.”  Hopefully I will never see these ornaments again, anyway.  I would like for them to sell!  So without further pomp or circumstance, I present to you… your dinner.  I mean, the ornaments.

I’m feeling more confident about my color correcting on this Mac.  At least my pictures don’t look completely fake anymore.  Moving on…

The star is my favorite, but the tree is growing on me.  Who doesn’t love a pink Christmas tree?  Right?

All four can be found at I Like You sometime around the Saturday after Thanksgiving when they are having their fabulous holiday party.  It’s the last party before they move locations, so I feel it’s necessary every cool kid in the world goes.  Or at least in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Yes, this post is a thinly veiled attempt to put off working; why do you ask?  Look, it’s really f-ing cold up here!  Cut me some slack!  Plus all I’m doing right now is cutting, and cutting is probably the most dreaded part of any sewing project.

If you happen to be in or near St. Cloud this weekend…

Head on over to the St. Cloud National Guard Armory (1710 8th St N/Veterans Drive) between 10am and 3pm on Saturday, October 25 for the Women of Today Shopping Boutique.  There will be all sorts of great vendors as well as a “Kids Karnival.”

Silver Pear Designs will be there in all our glory, vending headbands, wallets, totebags, buttons, cozies, and hair snaps.

We have tons of new cozies, some clearance, and even a special offer that’s only available at craft sales!

It should be a fun time.  In honor of the Kids Karnival, my little girls’ headbands are only $5!

And then the following Saturday….

Our weekends are filling up FAST over at Silver Pear Designs.

On Saturday, October 18th, 2008, we will be selling at the North Dale Annual Fall Craft Show.

We will have a great cozy special going on, which is only available at our shows, a TON of brand new cozy designs (30+), and we will have a lot of great cozies on clearance!

The sale will be held at the North Dale Recreations Center from 9am-2pm.

1414 N. St. Albans, St. Paul, MN. Hope to see you there!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

If you missed the fun of Craftstravaganza, you can still catch Silver Pear Designs: Artistic Edition, Danger Kitty Designs, The Cozy Corset Cuff at Handmaidens Spring Fling this Sunday.

We’ll be in the basement (where the raffle box is stationed, so don’t miss that!) directly across from the door and next to our dear friends from Creative Sundries. The theme this time around is Prom, which I’m actually quite excited for.  I was considering wearing my old prom dress, but I think I will just wear a dress, dress.  Or maybe a skirt.  You’ll have to come in order to find out!

You can pick up cards for the raffle at the sale, or from our table.  Every vendor is donating an item, so each winner is bound to get some really awesome stuff!
