Sorry I’m so late in getting this up–hope you can still make it!
On Sunday, December 7th, we will be selling at The Handmaidens’ Minneapolis Craftmas Show. Our booth will be located on the main level against the wall. Click here for more information.
The sale will be held at the Ballentine VFW from 10am-5pm. 2916 Lyndale Ave. So, Minneapolis, MN. Hope to see you there!

It is only by the grace of Tylenol PM that I was able to sleep last night. I’m nearly certain that I had many, many dreams regarding the sucess or failure of Craftstravaganza, but I was too drugged up to care (Yes, I’m a lightweight–Tylenol PM is the strongest drug I have ever given myself.)
That there is the evil twin to our banner. This banner will help you find our table, so keep an eye out for the ginormous pear. I’ll be the short, tired one underneath it. It’s FAR cooler in real life. After the show, I’ll post pictures and a description of the creation of a banner.
Here’s to selling out!
ETA: I re-read this entry, and realized my sentences make little sense. I am leaving it this way, however, to show how my brain works at 5:30 am.
It’s that time of year where it’s time to shift gears. Sure, it’s snowing right now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start our spring cleaning around here, does it? It’s time to whittle down old inventory so we can make way for the new stuff.
There is currently a sale going on at The Cozy Corset Cuff shop where old stock is $2 off. It would be a real shame to see those great cozies expire before finding a loving home, wouldn’t it?
I plan on doing the same thing at Danger Kitty Designs, but I’m going balls to the wall. I’m discounting every headband, including anything new I list. The new “inventory clean up” price will be $8. This means I have to get my act together and photograph and edit. Pretty sure it will be worth it, though.
So head on over and find some great deals.
It’s been a long, arduous day, but it was well worth every minute. The 6am alarm clock got me off to work for a four hour shift, and then I rushed across the river for a brick and mortar blitz with Jenna and Sarah.
I’m happy to announce that you can find Danger Kitty Designs and The Cozy Corset Cuff at Truly in White Bear Lake.
We visited a large number of stores today, so I will keep my faithful readers posted if there are any further developments. For now, I’m taking a break from sewing and working more on my wrist warmers–they’ve been neglected.
I can’t really say right now what this new product is… It’s still in the preliminary stages, but I can guarantee it will change your life.
The nice thing about collaborating with someone else in a business, as I started to do in September, is that you might have a really good idea, but all the pieces aren’t contained in your brain to make it a great idea. But if there’s someone else to bounce ideas off of, there’s a far greater chance that those pieces will fall into place.
That’s exactly what happened Saturday afternoon/evening. I went to teach ArtisticEdition how to make tote bags so that we could start creating matching totes to our Cozy Corset Cuffs. One thing led to another, and we had an entirely new product line. A product line even cooler than the matching tote, you ask? Yes. Oh, yes.
The only problem will be finding time for everything. Either that, or getting up the nerve to quit our day jobs. Crafting full time would be even harder work than supervising a fabric store, but it would be worth it.
Our new product will hit the proverbial shelves no later than April, but I suspect that early March will be their international launch date.
